Help the right client assess your business
The homepage should establish what you build, who you work for and where you operate. Give homeowners a clear route to residential services and commercial buyers a route to relevant sectors, capabilities and completed work.
| Page or section | What it should answer |
|---|---|
| Capabilities | Which services and packages do you deliver? |
| Sectors | Where do you have relevant experience? |
| Projects | What was your role and what did you complete? |
| About and credentials | Who delivers the work and what evidence supports their capability? |
| Coverage | Where can the team serve projects? |
| Enquiries | What information is needed and who responds? |
A portfolio that explains your contribution
Use approved photography, a clear brief, project type, location and your exact scope. Explain constraints such as access, phasing or occupied premises where relevant. Separate completed projects from concepts, and distinguish the main contractor’s work from your subcontract package.
Project values, programmes and performance claims should be included only where evidenced and approved. A manufacturer’s product photograph should not be presented as your completed construction project.
Make enquiry forms fit the buyer
A residential enquiry might ask for property location, project type, stage and timing. A commercial form may also need company, role, sector and a short scope. Route requests to the right team and make response expectations clear.
Secure document uploads, procurement integrations, client portals, recruitment systems and detailed estimating tools require a separate scope. Start with the information necessary for a useful first discussion.
Keep the site usable on mobile
Use readable content, appropriately sized images and clear controls. Avoid relying on a heavy video banner to explain the business. Provide text summaries of project evidence and make contact actions easy to find.
Check delivery and confirmation for forms before launch. Review existing URLs, useful content and measurement when rebuilding, and plan redirects where addresses change.

Explore our related trade website work
Our portfolio includes landscaping, gates, metalwork, electrical and other trade websites. JDM Gardens and Auto Gates Kent have case studies explaining their reported enquiries and measurement context.
These show related trade experience. They are not commercial main-contractor tender results or evidence of a construction PR campaign.
Fees and agreed scope
Local Authority includes core home, about, contact, project and review sections, up to 10 core service pages and a primary town plus up to five nearby launch areas where genuine coverage and distinct evidence justify them. Ongoing work includes 8–10 researched new pages monthly within the agreed plan.
First month free with a three-month initial commitment. Months two and three are £499 each (£998 total for the initial three months). From month four, the ongoing website and SEO optimisation plan continues at £499/month on a monthly rolling agreement until cancelled. We agree trade and primary-town exclusivity before starting; overlapping areas need separate agreement. After completing the initial three-month commitment and paying all outstanding fees, content and agreed assets can be handed over, with platform and transfer scope confirmed. See full scope and ownership details.
Local Authority is a defined local website and SEO package. A national contractor, multi-brand group, extensive sector library or procurement integration may need a tailored scope. We assess the brief before recommending a package.
