From£499/month

For an existing website. Priorities and deliverables agreed after review.

Request an SEO review

We’ll review your website and agree the monthly work before starting.

A good website does not always need replacing

If your website works well for customers, we start with what you have. We review its platform, pages, search visibility and enquiry journey before proposing the work. A strong design may need more useful service information, better local coverage or technical corrections rather than a new build.

Local SEO for small businesses

For a business serving nearby customers, we review the services and genuine areas you cover, your existing location pages and your Google Business Profile where eligible. Priorities may include accurate business information, useful service-area content, customer-review requests and relevant local citations. A town page needs distinct value and evidence; it is not a reason to publish the same content under dozens of place names.

We assess eligibility and how the business actually operates before recommending profile changes. A registered address does not by itself establish a staffed office, and a business operating from a private home does not need its home address exposed in website copy as a condition of our SEO work.

Agree the priorities your website needs

Your proposal identifies the work, deliverables and reporting. Depending on the review, priorities may include keyword and service planning, existing-page improvements, relevant new content, technical SEO, internal links and Google Business Profile work where eligible. Hosting and maintenance can stay with your existing provider.

Review access and practical limitations first

We need suitable access to the website and measurement accounts to deliver the agreed scope. Platform restrictions, custom development, complex technical repairs and integrations may require your developer or a separate quote. We explain those dependencies before committing to a plan.

Understand what “from £499/month” means

£499/month is the starting point for a defined SEO scope. The final fee depends on the site, competition, locations and work required. It is not unlimited content production or a promise that every technical issue is covered. Your proposal sets the billing schedule, commitment, cancellation terms and any separately approved costs.

Measure useful progress

We use available Search Console and enquiry data to monitor relevant queries, page performance and successful contact actions. Compare complete reporting periods and account for low volumes or new pages. Rankings, traffic and enquiry volumes are not guaranteed, and search visibility is not proof of completed sales.

Keep paid channels and external costs clear

Google Ads and Facebook and Instagram management have separate fees and media budgets. Authority Building & AI Visibility starts from £299/month management, with approved publisher, listing or production costs additional. These services are optional and do not automatically form part of SEO for small business.

Need a new website as well?

Our separate Local Authority package for trades combines a website with ongoing local SEO at £499/month within its agreed scope. Its free-month promotion and website transfer provisions apply to that package. We recommend the appropriate route after reviewing what you already have.

GOOD TO KNOW

Questions we hear often.

How much does SEO cost for a small business?+

Our existing-website SEO service starts from £499/month. The final scope, fee and commitment follow a review of the site, market and work required. Advertising and separately approved external costs are additional.

How long does small business SEO take?+

SEO is ongoing work rather than a fixed-date ranking promise. We review the starting point and track relevant queries, pages and enquiry actions over complete reporting periods. Competitive searches and new pages can take longer to develop visibility.

Can you work on a website another company built?+

Yes, subject to suitable platform access, permissions and a review of what can be changed. You do not automatically need a replacement.

Does SEO for small business include a new website?+

No. It develops an existing site. Rebuilds, migrations and specialist development require a separate agreed scope.

Is the first month free?+

The advertised free-month promotion applies to Local Authority, not automatically to SEO for small business. The standalone proposal sets its own billing and terms.

Are hosting and website maintenance included?+

Not automatically. They can remain with your current provider, with responsibilities and dependencies agreed before work starts.

Does £499 include link placement costs or advertising?+

No. Advertising, media spend, authority-building management and third-party placement costs are separately scoped and approved.
