CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS GROWTH

Lead Generation for Construction Companies

Attract and qualify construction enquiries by project type, location and stage. Compare own-brand marketing with planning intelligence, directories and tender opportunities.

Define the opportunity before choosing a lead source

A homeowner asking for a renovation estimate, a developer exploring contractors and a main contractor inviting subcontract bids are different opportunities. Set priorities for sector, geography, contract size, scope and available capacity before judging lead volume.

Build enquiries through your own brand

A useful website, relevant local search presence and carefully scoped paid campaigns give prospects a route to contact your business. We do not resell your own-brand enquiries to a contractor panel. Prospects may still independently compare companies.

SEO and Google Ads should lead to the appropriate service or sector page. Meta campaigns can introduce residential transformations where the creative and offer fit the audience.

Assess databases and tender platforms separately

Planning and construction-intelligence services can support business development, while tender platforms support procurement discovery. Neither should be treated as a list of people who have requested a quote from you. Assess coverage, freshness, project stage, buyer relevance, subscription terms and the effort needed to use the information.

Database subscriptions, telemarketing, tender writing, CPD appointments and bid submissions are not part of standard inbound marketing management. Agree any additional work explicitly.

Ask enough to assess the project

Useful first questions include residential or commercial work, project location, required service, approximate scope, project stage and desired programme. Ask whether drawings or a specification exist and whether the person is the client, consultant or contractor. Budget context can help, with an undecided option for early research.

Route residential and commercial requests to the correct person. Do not publish sensitive plans or contact details as marketing material. Document handling or secure upload requirements need their own agreed scope.

Measure the full pipeline

Track contact, qualification, meeting or survey, quotation or tender, and final outcome. Separate total opportunity value from awarded revenue. A long sales cycle means this month’s spend and this month’s contract awards may concern different groups of prospects.

For illustration, £1,000 ad spend plus £499 management totals £1,499. Ten qualified enquiries would cost £149.90 each. This is an example calculation, not a forecast. Assess profit contribution, bid effort and actual win rate before increasing spend.

Local Authority includes core home, about, contact, project and review sections, up to 10 core service pages and a primary town plus up to five nearby launch areas where genuine coverage and distinct evidence justify them. Ongoing work includes 8–10 researched new pages monthly within the agreed plan.

First month free with a three-month initial commitment. Months two and three are £499 each (£998 total for the initial three months). From month four, the ongoing website and SEO optimisation plan continues at £499/month on a monthly rolling agreement until cancelled. We agree trade and primary-town exclusivity before starting; overlapping areas need separate agreement. After completing the initial three-month commitment and paying all outstanding fees, content and agreed assets can be handed over, with platform and transfer scope confirmed. See full scope and ownership details.

Local Authority is a defined local website and SEO package. A national contractor, multi-brand group, extensive sector library or procurement integration may need a tailored scope. We assess the brief before recommending a package.

GOOD TO KNOW

Questions we hear often.

Do you supply a planning database?+

Not within our standard marketing package. Planning intelligence and tender subscriptions are separate tools with their own terms.

Are tender invitations guaranteed?+

No. Procurement decisions and invitations sit with the buyer. We improve the clarity and discovery of your capabilities.

Can we qualify project stage?+

Yes. Forms and follow-up can distinguish concept, design, planning, tender and ready-to-start enquiries.

Who handles quotations and bids?+

Your business does. We agree enquiry delivery and reporting; quoting and bid management are not included by default.
