Define a useful scaffolding enquiry
An enquiry is more useful when the site is within your working area, the requested access falls within your capability and the timing suits your available resources. Domestic, trade and commercial opportunities may need different qualification and response processes.
We agree those criteria before choosing channels. Transport, erection and dismantling resources, hire duration and project coordination all affect whether a job is worth pursuing; headline lead volume cannot answer that question.
Connect the channel to the buying situation
| Situation | Possible route | What to assess |
|---|---|---|
| A homeowner needs access for planned repairs | Service and location search pages or search ads | Site, purpose and timing |
| A roofer needs a local access partner | Trade-focused pages and relevant project evidence | Working area and coordination needs |
| A commercial team researches suppliers | Capability pages and a clear commercial contact route | Scope and procurement stage |
| A local prospect discovers your work | Approved project-led Meta advertising | Actual project requirement and suitability |
The appropriate mix depends on demand, budget and evidence available. Large frameworks and formal tenders have their own procurement requirements; an advertising enquiry is not a framework appointment.
Ask enough to route the enquiry
A practical form can ask for the site postcode, intended work, approximate scale if known, preferred dates, likely hire period and the enquirer’s role. Give people an “unsure” route rather than make them invent technical specifications.
Drawings or photographs can help where a supported upload process is agreed, but they need not be mandatory for the first contact. The contractor remains responsible for technical assessment and the proposal for the actual site.
Make follow-up fit your team
Send enquiries to a monitored destination and agree who responds during working hours. Set realistic expectations if a site visit or estimator review is required. Automatic acknowledgements should confirm receipt without promising availability or a final price.
We can scope supported notifications and tracking with your existing systems. CRM implementation, call handling, outbound prospecting and ongoing sales follow-up are separate activities unless explicitly included.
Measure accepted work as well as forms
Report valid enquiries, suitable projects, quotes issued, accepted work and known value as separate stages. Note why opportunities are declined, such as distance, scope or timing, to improve targeting. A form submission alone does not show that a scaffold was erected or an invoice paid.
Local Authority and optional lead-generation channels
Local Authority includes the website and ongoing SEO: first month free, then £499/month with an initial three-month commitment; Google Ads management starts from £499/month, with ad spend paid directly to Google. Combined Facebook and Instagram Ads management starts from £499/month, with spend paid directly to Meta.
Your proposal identifies the channels, website changes, tracking, response responsibilities, fees and terms. Campaigns run for your business; this is not a shared-lead resale panel. Prospects may independently contact other scaffolders, and no lead volume or job outcome is guaranteed.
Local Authority for scaffolding companies
Build your local presence with a website, ongoing SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation. Scaffolding companies serving homeowners, roofers, builders and local commercial projects fit our Local Authority package, with trade and primary-town exclusivity agreed before starting.
First month free. No setup fee. Initial three-month commitment. Months two and three are £499 each: £998 total for the initial three months. From month four, the website and ongoing SEO optimisation plan continues at £499/month on a monthly rolling agreement until cancelled.
- Core website sections and up to 10 core service pages, or agreed improvements to a suitable existing website.
- Your primary town plus up to five nearby genuine service areas at launch.
- 8–10 researched pages or agreed content improvements each month around relevant services, locations and project evidence.
- Google Business Profile optimisation, internal linking, technical SEO and monthly reporting.
- Hosting and maintenance included while the main plan remains active.
After completing the three-month commitment and paying outstanding fees, you retain ownership of the agreed website content and assets, with handover subject to the platform and licensing terms. Give at least seven calendar days’ written notice before renewal to cancel. After cancellation, hosting only is £20/month, or hosting with ongoing minor maintenance is £50/month; SEO and marketing stop. These are alternative support options, not additional charges while the main plan is active.
Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram Ads, link building and digital PR are optional additional services with separate fees. Advertising spend is paid directly to the relevant platform. See Local Authority details and full terms.
