Define the commercial opportunity first
A contractor enquiry, early cost-research visit and formal tender invitation can all arrive through search, but represent different buying stages. We agree preferred services, regions, project sizes and client groups before planning keywords.
Separate actual capabilities such as office refurbishment, design and build or specific fit-out packages where useful. Do not assume that a high-value project can never start with search, or promise that advertising will bypass its procurement process.
| Theme | Relevant landing-page message | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Office fit-out contractor | Actual capabilities, region and comparable projects | Location, scope and contact role |
| Office refurbishment | Services and occupation considerations | Intended works and timing |
| Cat A or Cat B package | Your actual service and delivery responsibilities | Known specification and procurement stage |
| Workplace design and build, where offered | Design and construction role | Brief and approximate project size |
Review unrelated search traffic
Residential interiors, home-office products, furniture shopping, careers and subcontractor requests may need exclusions when outside the campaign purpose. Review actual search terms rather than block every research or cost query automatically.
Location choices should consider both the project site and the buyer’s office. A national property team may research a regional site remotely. Google describes location targeting as a best-effort system; review actual enquiry locations and suitability rather than assume perfect geographic filtering.
Give the click enough proof to continue
Use a relevant service page with approved comparable work, your role, genuine coverage and a clear enquiry route. Cat labels should not substitute for an explanation of what you do.
Capture region, project type, approximate size, timing and contact details where useful. Give early-stage buyers an “unsure” route. Avoid promising final costs or delivery dates before the brief and site are assessed.
Measure the longer commercial journey
Separate valid enquiries, qualified briefs, meetings, tender invitations, proposals and known wins. A low cost per form does not establish a low cost per suitable project. Supported CRM feedback or offline conversions need agreed systems and staff processes.
Budget, bidding, match types, schedules and networks should follow demand and observed quality. We do not present an overseas cost-per-lead example or a universal campaign setting as your forecast.
Google Ads management from £499/month
Ad spend is additional and paid directly to Google. The proposal identifies campaigns, tracking, landing-page work, reporting and terms. Major development, extensive creative production and third-party software are separately identified.
Local Authority remains the separate website and organic visibility foundation. Enquiry volume, project values, tender awards and advertising returns are not guaranteed.
Local Authority for office fit-out companies
Build your local presence with a website, ongoing SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation. Office fit-out companies serving occupiers, landlords and project teams in a defined region can use our Local Authority package, with trade and primary-town exclusivity agreed before starting.
First month free. No setup fee. Initial three-month commitment. Months two and three are £499 each: £998 total for the initial three months. From month four, the website and ongoing SEO optimisation plan continues at £499/month on a monthly rolling agreement until cancelled.
- Core website sections and up to 10 core service pages, or agreed improvements to a suitable existing website.
- Your primary town plus up to five nearby genuine service areas at launch.
- 8–10 researched pages or agreed content improvements each month around relevant services, locations and project evidence.
- Google Business Profile optimisation, internal linking, technical SEO and monthly reporting.
- Hosting and maintenance included while the main plan remains active.
After completing the three-month commitment and paying outstanding fees, you retain ownership of the agreed website content and assets, with handover subject to the platform and licensing terms. Give at least seven calendar days’ written notice before renewal to cancel. After cancellation, hosting only is £29.99/month, or hosting with ongoing minor maintenance is £50/month; SEO and marketing stop. These are alternative support options, not additional charges while the main plan is active.
Wider regional or national campaigns, extensive portfolio production and specialist integrations are separately assessed. Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram Ads, link building and digital PR are optional additional services with separate fees. Advertising spend is paid directly to the relevant platform. See Local Authority details and full terms.
