Separate event intent where the budget supports it
Wedding marquees, garden parties, corporate structures and longer-term venue hire can have different briefs and quotation journeys. Structure campaigns around the work you offer, with relevant landing pages and photographs. Only target clearspan, pole, stretch tent or tipi searches where those products are in your range.
Filter searches that do not match the business
Review traffic for equipment purchases, DIY tents, gazebos, jobs, light-up marquee letters and unrelated hire products. Negative keywords need judgement: someone comparing hire prices may be a valuable prospect. Do not exclude every cost-related search simply because it mentions a budget.
Use coverage and capacity to guide targeting
Agree realistic delivery areas using travel, crew time, installation windows and event value. Review actual enquiry locations and unsupported requests. A venue contract may justify different coverage from a small private-party hire; one fixed radius is not right for every company.
Plan spend around booking lead times
Review enquiry history and available dates before choosing campaign timing. Couples planning next summer may search in a different season from a business arranging an imminent function. Reduce promotion for unavailable periods or explain alternatives where the business can deliver them.
Send visitors to an event-specific next step
A useful landing page explains structure scope, real event examples, coverage and quotation requirements. Ask for the event date and location early enough to establish fit. Use starting prices only for genuine available packages with clear conditions, and avoid claiming instant availability without a connected reliable system.
Review quotations and bookings alongside forms
Track successful submissions and agreed contact actions. Use follow-up outcomes where available to assess suitability and cost. An advertising platform conversion is not proof of a completed hire. Budgets and testing periods are agreed from the actual market rather than a universal cost-per-lead promise.
Use evidence from events you actually supplied
Show approved event photographs, the structure used, your role and genuine customer feedback. Distinguish a complete package from a structure-only hire and identify partner-supplied furniture, catering or lighting accurately. Get permission before publishing identifiable guests, private addresses or wedding details.
Our portfolio and case studies show work for other local businesses. They illustrate our approach and are not a claim of previous results for a marquee hire client.
