Choose the service and customer mix first
Cosmetic paint repairs, dent removal and accident repairs can have different costs, assessment needs and capacity constraints. Structure the campaign around genuine services rather than combine every automotive search in one offer.
Agree workshop coverage, any genuine mobile service and the availability to assess new work. A repair business should not be advertised as an emergency recovery service unless it actually provides that service.
Send the search to a relevant estimate route
A bumper campaign can explain that service with approved examples. Accident repair searches need accurate capabilities and customer-process information. Clearly state the next step and the role of vehicle assessment.
Do not copy blanket claims such as all-insurer approval, lifetime warranties, same-day prices or courtesy cars from another business’s advert. Use only verified terms and offers that apply to your workshop.
Refine queries against the actual offer
Jobs, training, DIY products, parts-only requests and unrelated mechanical services may fall outside a campaign. We assess exclusions using actual search terms rather than assume every broad repair phrase is relevant.
A free-estimate query can be appropriate if the business genuinely offers one. Location settings, landing pages and enquiry questions should work together to check whether the customer and vehicle fit your coverage.
Distinguish Search Ads from other products
Our proposed campaign scope should say which Google products are included. Local Services Ads are a separate product with category and location eligibility; Google’s eligibility guidance should be checked rather than assuming a UK bodyshop can use them.
Measure suitable work
Agree valid estimate enquiries and, where reliable data exists, feedback on inspections, bookings and completed jobs. Call measurement, booking tools and workshop-system connections need an appropriate setup and separate scope where applicable.
Testing budgets depend on competition, repair values, costs and capacity. We do not apply US click-cost benchmarks or another shop’s conversion rate as a forecast.
Google Ads management from £499/month
The agreed scope covers planning, setup or improvements, approved copy, testing, optimisation and reporting. Advertising spend is separate and paid directly to Google.
New landing pages, integrations and substantial production are separately assessed. The proposal sets coverage, fees, terms and approvals; enquiry costs and completed repair orders are not guaranteed.
