Define a useful roofing enquiry
Choose the work you accept, roof types, geographic limits and minimum scope where applicable. An urgent leak enquiry has a different response requirement from a planned reroof or a facilities manager’s request for a specification.
| Enquiry | Information to collect |
|---|---|
| Repair request | Postcode, property type, brief description and urgency |
| Replacement roof | Roof type if known, project scope and preferred timing |
| Flat roofing | Property context, repair or replacement need and location |
| Commercial brief | Premises, client role, specification stage and programme |
| Chimney or roofline work | Requested service, location and a short description |
Keep questions short and allow “not sure” where a homeowner cannot identify a material or cause. Your roofer assesses the work. Do not ask customers to climb onto a roof, inspect unsafe areas or diagnose the defect before they can enquire.
Compare direct enquiries with purchased leads
SEO, Google Ads and suitable Meta campaigns promote your business directly. We do not distribute the enquiries generated for you to a contractor panel. Customers can still independently compare roofers and request other quotes.
For a lead platform, check sharing, duplicates, service and geography filters, invalid-lead terms and total cost. An “exclusive” contact is not necessarily an appointment or won job. Third-party subscriptions are separate from our management fees.
Organise the response before generating more demand
Assign responsibility for calls and forms, acknowledge requests and confirm service fit. For urgent advertising, use a monitored contact route and accurate response expectations. Planned jobs can begin with a conversation and assessment. Avoid fixed attendance promises unless the business can fulfil them.
Record missed calls, next actions, assessments, quotes and outcomes. CRM integration, booking and automated nurture need agreed scope. Respect requests to stop follow-up.
Judge the cost against work won
Include management fees and ad spend when assessing paid acquisition. Compare cost per qualified enquiry and won job with the contribution after materials, access equipment, labour and disposal. Record why enquiries do not progress, such as wrong location, unwanted service or unavailable capacity.
Use that feedback to improve campaigns rather than chase the lowest possible form cost. We do not forecast results using another provider’s headline lead price.
Roofing marketing pricing
Local Authority includes core home, about, contact, project and review sections, up to 10 core service pages and a primary town plus up to five nearby launch areas where genuine coverage and distinct evidence justify them. We add 8–10 pages each month around the agreed service and location plan, with internal linking, Google Business Profile optimisation, technical SEO, hosting, maintenance and monthly reporting. We agree the topics and evidence needed before producing them.
First month free with a three-month initial commitment. Months two and three are £499 each (£998 total for the initial three months). From month four, the ongoing website and SEO optimisation plan continues at £499/month on a monthly rolling agreement until cancelled. Trade and primary-town exclusivity are agreed before starting. After completing the initial three-month commitment and paying all outstanding fees, content and agreed assets can be handed over, with platform and transfer scope confirmed. Large regional campaigns, extensive service libraries and integrations need separate assessment. Read package and handover details.
