Choose a route that fits your patio business
Lead generation can mean attracting enquiries through your own marketing or purchasing opportunities from a third-party provider. Built for Local offers monthly marketing for your business. Our standard package is not a pay-per-lead marketplace.
| Route | Cost structure | What to assess |
|---|---|---|
| Website and local SEO | Monthly agreed scope | Service visibility, content quality and ownership |
| Google Search Ads | Management plus direct Google spend | Search intent, coverage and suitable enquiries |
| Facebook & Instagram Ads | Management plus direct Meta spend | Project creative, qualification and follow-up |
| Purchased leads or directories | Provider-specific lead or membership fee | Sharing, duplicates, refund terms and actual job fit |
| Referrals | Business relationships and time | Fit with preferred projects and availability |
Define a suitable patio enquiry
A postcode, approximate area and short brief help distinguish a new patio from slab supply, a small repair or a wider garden redesign. Ask about material preference, existing surface, access, desired timing and indicative budget where useful. Photographs can help later assessment, but a request is not a substitute for a site survey.
Describe minimum practical project scope honestly if you have one. Do not reject every undecided customer: someone who needs advice on porcelain versus natural stone can still have a suitable project.
Keep the enquiry in your own brand
Own-brand campaigns send requests to your business, and we do not resell them to a panel of contractors. Customers can still compare installers independently. Primary-town trade exclusivity is an agreed agency arrangement, not exclusive ownership of local demand.
Follow up and learn from the outcome
Agree who receives requests, test form delivery and respond promptly during supported hours. Record contact, survey, quotation and decision. Feedback on location, size, duplicates and unsuitable services helps improve the targeting and content.
CRM integrations, automated chasers and booking systems can be scoped separately. Your business handles surveys, quotations and sales.
Compare cost with contribution from won jobs
Track qualified enquiries and won work alongside advertising spend and management. Illustration only: £1,000 spend plus £499 management totals £1,499. Twenty qualified enquiries would cost £74.95 each; four won jobs would cost £374.75 each. These are example calculations, not projected results. Assess affordability after materials, labour and other direct job costs.

Landscape Gardener of Kent and Premier Driveways & Landscaping show how paving and wider garden services can be presented through clear pages and project evidence. Read the JDM Gardens case study for reported organic enquiries and their measurement context.

Monthly fees and scope
Local Authority includes core home, about, contact, project and review sections, up to 10 core service pages and a primary town plus up to five nearby launch areas where genuine coverage and distinct evidence justify them. Ongoing work includes 8–10 researched new pages monthly within the agreed plan.
First month free with a three-month initial commitment. Months two and three are £499 each (£998 total for the initial three months). From month four, the ongoing website and SEO optimisation plan continues at £499/month on a monthly rolling agreement until cancelled. We agree trade and primary-town exclusivity before starting; overlapping areas need separate agreement. After completing the initial three-month commitment and paying all outstanding fees, content and agreed assets can be handed over, with platform and transfer scope confirmed.
