Define a useful decorating enquiry
Choose the services you want more of and the projects you can deliver profitably. A single-room refresh, kitchen painting enquiry and commercial refurbishment need different conversations. Set coverage and practical scope before judging the number of leads.
| Project | Useful details |
|---|---|
| Interior decorating | Location, rooms, approximate scope, condition and timing |
| Exterior painting | Property type, surfaces, access and desired timing |
| Wallpaper hanging | Rooms or walls, paper selection and existing condition |
| Kitchen painting | Existing units, desired finish and photographs if available |
| Commercial work | Premises, scope, programme and occupied-site arrangements |
Compare your own enquiries with purchased leads
Own-brand SEO and Google Ads bring prospects to your business. We do not resell those enquiries to a contractor panel, although customers may independently compare decorators.
For directories and pay-per-lead providers, assess sharing, duplicate rules, contact quality, geographical coverage and total cost. A purchased contact and an accepted decorating job are different outcomes. Directory subscriptions are not included in our management fees.
Make the first step easy
Ask for contact details, location, service and a short description, with timing and scope where useful. Allow customers who are unsure about materials or quantities to explain the problem. Photographs may help the next conversation, but do not replace your assessment or site visit where needed.
Confirm receipt, assign follow-up and record the next action. Your team decides technical suitability, preparation requirements and pricing. Booking systems, file uploads and automated follow-up require agreed scope.
Track the enquiry through to the job
Record suitable leads, contact made, surveys, quotes and accepted work. Include management fees and advertising spend when assessing acquisition cost. Compare job contribution and available capacity rather than scaling solely because form submissions are cheap.
Meta campaigns may introduce people still considering a project; an active search may have a different timeline. Measure the actual progress of each source rather than assume every contact is ready to book.
Painting and decorating marketing pricing
Local Authority includes core website sections, up to 10 core service pages and a primary town plus up to five nearby launch areas where genuine coverage and distinct evidence justify them. Ongoing work includes 8–10 researched new pages monthly, hosting, maintenance and reporting within the agreed plan.
First month free with a three-month initial commitment. Months two and three are £499 each (£998 total for the initial three months). From month four, the ongoing website and SEO optimisation plan continues at £499/month on a monthly rolling agreement until cancelled. Trade and primary-town exclusivity are agreed before starting. After completing the initial three-month commitment and paying all outstanding fees, content and agreed assets can be handed over, with platform and transfer scope confirmed. Large regional campaigns, extensive service libraries and integrations need separate assessment. See full package details.
