The best marketing agency for a pest control company should understand your actual services, working area and response capacity. A homeowner reporting rodents, a landlord seeking prevention and a facilities manager comparing a maintenance contract need different information before they enquire.
This guide compares ten agencies and providers for UK businesses. Several publish named pest-control cases; others describe sector-specific campaigns or lead services. We explain what that evidence supports and the questions to ask about implementation, costs, enquiry quality and ownership.

Potential fit is our interpretation of primary information reviewed on 27 October 2026. We have not obtained matching quotations or independently audited reported results. A named case is useful evidence, but service mix, location, dates and outcome definitions still matter.
Built for Local — our top choice for a website and ongoing local search marketing
Our pest-control marketing starts with actual services, coverage, capacity and preferred projects. We agree enquiry criteria before selecting pages and channels.
A branded website with continuing local SEO
Local Authority is £499/month with no setup fee. No VAT is charged. The first 30 days are free within a three-service-month commitment. The following two monthly periods cost £499 each (£998 total). The service then continues at £499/month until cancelled under the agreed terms.
The agreed launch includes core business pages, up to ten service pages and a primary town plus up to five genuine nearby areas. Continuing work develops relevant service, area and project content, improves internal links and technical SEO, supports Business Profile work and provides reporting within the plan. Hosting and maintenance are included.
SEO for a suitable existing website starts from £499/month. We review access, website condition and enquiry delivery before agreeing improvements or a rebuild.
Help customers request the right pest service
Build useful pages for accepted pests, assessment, prevention and commercial management. Explain real response hours, service boundaries and the next step. Show approved technician, project and reporting evidence, with memberships and qualifications verified before publication.
Our portfolio shows wider trade website work. We do not label it as measured pest-control acquisition performance. Your pages would use your own approved projects, capabilities and quotation process.
Add advertising and authority where justified
Google Ads management is separately £499/month for media up to £2,000/month. Media is additional and paid directly to Google; higher spend needs a separate management quote. Facebook and Instagram management is £499/month plus media, with creative and campaign scope agreed.
Authority management starts from £299/month plus approved external costs. Digital PR needs an agreed evidence-led brief. New photography, software integrations and staffed enquiry handling need explicit agreement.
For an active partnership, we agree the trade and primary town and do not actively market a direct competitor in that combination. Completed website ownership transfers after the initial commitment and payment of outstanding fees, subject to platform and third-party licensing. Seven days’ cancellation notice applies under our terms.
Discuss your pest control marketing ↗2. Targeted SEO
Potential fit: Operators comparing branding, website redevelopment and sustained local SEO.
Targeted SEO’s Project Multi Pest case describes branding, a new website, pest-specific service content, local search work and continuing development. The named business sought stronger visibility across London and Kent.
The agency reports an average of 130 online enquiries per month in the first 12 months. This is a historical provider-reported result, not a forecast for a new operator or proof that every enquiry became a paid treatment. Ask for original periods, traffic sources, enquiry definitions, complete fees and conversion to completed work. Confirm how much monthly implementation is included.

3. Frogspark
Potential fit: Regional operators building an organic presence alongside existing advertising.
Frogspark’s PestCo case concerns a domestic and commercial pest business seeking stronger visibility in Derby, Nottingham and Leicester before wider expansion. It describes service-area content, local search work, directories and backlink development alongside a pre-existing paid marketing presence.
The case headline reports first-page visibility within two months. It does not establish a repeatable lead volume, acquisition cost or paid-job return. Request the tracked queries, locations, dates and original enquiry reporting. Agree the present delivery team, ongoing work and fees. Do not assume an area-exclusivity policy from another agency’s comparison article.

4. Spark SEO
Potential fit: Commercial pest businesses comparing national B2B search and website support.
Spark SEO’s Merlin Environmental case describes a nationwide UK commercial pest provider serving businesses such as hotels and airlines. Published work covers website delivery, SEO and digital PR, with the challenge of distinguishing business demand from similar domestic search wording.
Spark reports growth from about 40 to over 16,000 monthly organic visitors over three years and 150 new business enquiries during peak-season months. Treat these as provider-reported figures with a specific period and seasonal context. Ask how relevant commercial opportunities, contracts won and revenue were defined. A national B2B programme is not a benchmark for a single-town residential launch.

5. Immersive Media
Potential fit: Established websites needing service content, technical work and authority development.
Immersive Media’s named A&H Pest Control case describes page optimisation, technical SEO, internal linking, content planning, backlinks and monthly management across pest control, bird control and solar-panel pigeon proofing.
Its published summary reports 248 top-ten and 41 position-one rankings across the tracked campaign. These are tracked ranking positions, not unique customers or completed jobs. Ask for dates, locations, device and Maps settings, enquiry quality and the services behind the totals. Confirm who writes, approves and implements content, plus ongoing fees and website access.

6. Paragon Marketing
Potential fit: Local firms wanting website delivery and continuing content and social support.
Paragon Marketing’s Pest Assured project describes a clearer website, local SEO, service content and ongoing marketing for a York and North Yorkshire pest-control business. Its published project information also includes social media support.
This is a named example of delivery. The reviewed description does not supply a comparable quantified acquisition return. Ask for original reporting, dates, scope, monthly output, media and fees. Use the linked paragon-marketing.co.uk business when checking the case; similarly named agencies in search results should not be treated as the same supplier.

7. RippleSEO
Potential fit: Operators comparing a combined search, profile, advertising and social programme.
RippleSEO publishes a pest-control offer combining service and area content, Business Profile work, paid campaigns, review support and social media. It describes audit, implementation and reporting stages, with custom proposals and no long lock-in.
The page includes testimonials, but these are not a substitute for a dated campaign record showing costs and paid outcomes. Request comparable references and a written plan. Apply pest and treatment targeting to your real UK services. Confirm any Local Services Ads eligibility separately, and agree who reviews technical claims, review requests and continuing page work.

8. Atomic Digital Marketing
Potential fit: Firms comparing coordinated SEO, PPC, website and customer-communication support.
Atomic’s pest-control page describes SEO, PPC, social media, websites, service-reminder emails and call-conversion improvements. It addresses urgent enquiries, seasonal campaign planning and preventive work.
This establishes a relevant sector proposition. The wider testimonials and performance headings on the page should not automatically be read as pest-control results. Ask for named comparable clients, the delivery team, campaign periods, conversion definitions and the monthly work to be implemented. Confirm advertising, creative, software and integration costs alongside the core fee.

9. Leads Everyday
Potential fit: Operators comparing a dedicated local pest-control lead service.
Leads Everyday’s pest-control page explicitly covers common domestic pest enquiries and ongoing commercial pest management. It describes bespoke landing pages, targeted Google Ads, direct exclusive contacts and real-time reporting, with no job commission or long-term contract.
Confirm setup, management, media or lead charges and how duplicates, out-of-area requests and services you do not provide are handled. Published campaign and lead totals cover UK businesses generally, not pest-control-only results. An average launch claim is not a guaranteed timetable. Exclusivity means the provider’s agreed distribution policy; a customer may still contact other contractors.

10. Zapo Ads
Potential fit: Local firms comparing a packaged paid-search and lead-management service.
Zapo Ads publishes a pest-control offer using local search advertising, a landing page and lead-management tools. Its CRM descriptions cover notifications, pipeline management, call assistance and reporting. Those tools support handling after contact rather than proving external AI-search recommendations.
Its separate pricing page lists a £400/month Launch plan excluding VAT with £200/month advertising budget included. Published lead estimates vary by sector, location and season. Ask for your current pest-control proposal, CRM entitlement, total media, minimum term and ownership of pages, accounts and data. General testimonials and cross-sector totals are not a measured pest-control return.

Map the service and buyer behind a pest-control search
| Search theme | Useful destination | Clarify before confirmation |
|---|---|---|
| Pest control [town] | Actual services, coverage and assessment route | Reported problem, postcode and property type |
| Rat or mouse control | Relevant rodent-service page | Assessment, scope, access and follow-up arrangements |
| Wasp nest enquiry | Actual seasonal service and availability | Identification uncertainty and responsible assessment |
| Bed bug enquiry | Service and quotation process where offered | Property context, assessment and approved scope |
| Bird proofing or solar-panel pigeon proofing | Distinct capability and project page | Access, specialist assessment and actual service limits |
| Commercial pest management | Sector experience and survey route | Site needs, monitoring, records and procurement stage |
| Identification or prevention advice | Expert-reviewed informational content | Advice request versus a treatment enquiry |
These are research themes, not measured volumes, a treatment prescription or a statement that every operator offers every service. The customer may be unsure what they have seen. Give them an “unsure” option rather than require a diagnosis before contacting you.
Use clear destinations for genuinely distinct needs. Consolidate overlapping synonyms, and make location pages useful through real coverage and relevant evidence. Avoid copying an international pest list into a UK campaign or generating every possible pest-and-postcode combination.
Give domestic and commercial buyers the right next step
A domestic enquiry may need a postcode, property type, reported signs, urgency and preferred contact route. A commercial buyer may need a site survey, monitoring proposal, service records, procurement information and an agreed contract scope. A survey request is not an awarded contract.
Publish real operating hours and supported response areas. Emergency, same-day and 24-hour claims should reflect staffing and capacity. The responsible pest professional should approve technical content, including product, treatment, safety and environmental claims. Avoid unsupported promises of permanent eradication, a universal visit count or blanket family-safe and pet-safe treatments.
Read pest-control marketing cases in context
| Provider and case | Published evidence | What remains to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Targeted SEO — Project Multi Pest | Website, branding, local service content and reported online enquiries | Original enquiry definitions, full costs and paid outcomes |
| Frogspark — PestCo | Midlands location strategy and reported first-page visibility | Tracked search context and suitable enquiries |
| Spark SEO — Merlin Environmental | National commercial SEO and seasonal enquiry figures | Business-buyer attribution and contracts won |
| Immersive Media — A&H Pest Control | Tracked rankings across pest and bird-proofing services | Search settings and progression to paid work |
| Paragon Marketing — Pest Assured | Named website and continuing local marketing delivery | Dated acquisition data and comparable costs |
Ranking positions, estimated organic traffic, connected calls and online submissions measure different things. A website can attract substantial informational traffic without producing equivalent demand for commercial contracts. A provider’s tracked keyword count is not a count of customers.
Ask for the baseline, original period, actual services, locations, media, fees and conversion definitions. Check whether reported growth combines a rebuild, SEO, PR and paid campaigns. A three-year national programme cannot establish the first-quarter forecast for a new local operator.
Do not turn a contractor’s successful pest-management project into an agency acquisition case. A treatment or prevention story can demonstrate service experience without proving how the customer was acquired.
Industry guidance is useful context
BPCA’s 2023 marketing checklist covers customer segments, branding, websites, local profiles, channels and measurement. Its emphasis on different domestic, landlord and business needs is useful when briefing an agency.
It is a historical guidance article, not a current advertising approval record. Check today’s platform requirements directly before relying on its references to membership and Google advertising. Trade-association membership does not itself prove that a marketing agency has delivered a successful campaign.
Choose channels around demand, evidence and capacity
Website and local SEO
Explain actual services, accepted properties, coverage, assessment and contact options on accessible mobile pages. Show real team and project evidence with permission. Keep customer addresses, occupancy, security and commercially sensitive infestation details private.
Check indexing, important visible text, redirects, canonicals, page loading and internal links. Test forms and contact delivery. Acknowledgements should state the real next step rather than confirm treatment or attendance before the operator has reviewed the enquiry.
Google’s business guidance calls for accurate identity, categories and locations. A registered office is not automatically a staffed branch. Follow service-area rules where customers do not visit your premises, and protect private home addresses.
Publish memberships and qualifications only when current and verifiable. Invite honest feedback consistently under Google’s review rules, without incentives, selective positive-review requests or required wording. A photo schedule or review target does not guarantee a Maps position.
Google Search Ads and lead services
Build campaigns around the pests, services and places you actually serve. Match the advertisement to a useful page and review search terms for irrelevant products, jobs, training, DIY research or unsupported services. Apply exclusions to the real offer rather than a generic list.
Confirm the enquiry postcode and review whether location settings reflect your coverage. Agree who answers calls, what happens outside staffed hours and how uncertain requests are escalated. Campaign availability and technician availability should be considered together.
Local Services Ads are a separate product from ordinary Search campaigns. Check current country, category and verification requirements for the actual business. Do not promise eligibility, a particular badge, a fixed lead volume or a permanent top position.
For a lead service, specify what makes a contact valid: accepted pest or reported problem, location, property, contact details and required next step. Agree duplicate and credit rules, distribution, media and account rights. A delivered exclusive contact can still be unsuitable or choose another supplier.
Social media, commercial relationships and retention
Approved technician introductions, useful seasonal explanations and discreet project stories can support familiarity and trust. Paid social may serve a different purpose from an urgent Search query. Test it against suitable enquiries and costs; do not assume it always fails or replaces search.
Commercial marketing can also involve relevant property managers, facilities teams, referral partners and useful professional content. Agree target sectors, decision-makers, sales follow-up and what counts as a qualified opportunity. Keep a contact list, a meeting, a proposal and a contract award distinct.
Reminders and follow-up tools should reflect the actual service agreement and responsible operator’s advice. Do not let automated messages promise a universal treatment or monitoring interval.
AI search, authority and digital PR
Make the business, services and evidence clear enough for customers and search systems to interpret. Google’s current AI-search guidance retains SEO foundations and does not require special AI files or schema. Check indexing, snippet eligibility and applicable Search generative AI inclusion settings.
Test neutral service-and-area questions and save the platform, mode, date, answer and actual cited URLs. Keep branded accuracy checks separate from unbranded discovery. An AI call assistant or website chatbot supports handling; it does not establish that external assistants recommend the company.
Relevant supplier references, approved case coverage and expert contributions can help buyers assess experience. Agree evidence, rights and external costs. Qualify paid links under Google’s link policies; a sponsored placement is not automatically an independent endorsement.
Compare fees, implementation and ownership
| Model | What you buy | Confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Website and continuing SEO | Business pages and ongoing agreed work | Monthly implementation, minimum term, ownership and exit |
| Managed advertising | Campaign setup, review and measurement | Management, media, tracking, pages and creative |
| Lead service | Contacts meeting contracted criteria | Sharing, validity, credits, minimums and asset rights |
| Commercial growth programme | Coordinated marketing and sales support | Software, qualification duties, team and reporting |
BFL website and ongoing local SEO is £499/month with no setup fee and no VAT charged. Google Ads management is separately £499/month for media up to £2,000/month; higher spend needs a separate quote. Authority management starts from £299/month plus approved external costs.
For illustration, £1,000 media plus £499 management totals £1,499/month before additional agreed production or integrations. This is arithmetic, not a recommended minimum budget or enquiry forecast. Compare proposals on actual scope, tax treatment, commitment and total cost.
Keep control of essential business accounts and the domain, granting appropriate access. Agree content and image rights, call tracking, data exports, page licences and handover. A provider-controlled lead page can have different exit rights from a commissioned website.
After BFL’s initial commitment and outstanding fees are settled, completed website ownership transfers subject to platform and third-party licensing. Hosting only is £29.99/month; maintenance including hosting is £50/month. Continuing SEO ends with the main plan.
Track suitable enquiries through to completed paid work
Collect service or reported issue, postcode, property type, urgency and preferred contact route. Allow uncertainty and avoid asking customers to upload sensitive site details publicly. Agree who reviews, assesses, quotes, schedules and follows up.
| Stage | Useful record | Avoid assuming |
|---|---|---|
| Contact | Real form or connected conversation | A phone tap is a conversation |
| Suitable enquiry | Accepted service, location, property and scope | Every delivered contact is feasible |
| Assessment or survey | Required checks and completed visit | Every survey produces a quotation |
| Quotation or proposal | Approved scope, price and response | Quoted value is revenue |
| Booking or contract award | Confirmed arrangement and cancellations | All agreed work is completed |
| Completion and payment | Work delivered, collected payment and costs | Revenue equals profit |
For illustration, 20 enquiries from £1,000 media cost £50 each before fees. If five become completed paid jobs, media alone is £200 per job. Including £499 management makes that £299.80 per paid job before other costs. Compare that with contribution after labour, travel, materials and delivery costs.
Record repeat work, commercial retention and referrals when they happen. A pipeline estimate or annual contract value is not automatically collected revenue. Include unsuitable contacts, duplicates, cancellations and unpaid work in reporting.
Agree a practical launch and review plan
- Confirm accepted pest services, sectors, genuine areas and response capacity.
- Review the website, local profile, credentials, project evidence and enquiry delivery.
- Agree monthly implementation, full costs and responsibility for technical claims and follow-up.
- Publish approved pages and test forms, campaigns and tracking.
- Review suitable enquiries, surveys, proposals, completed work and paid outcomes.
This is a work framework, not a guaranteed ranking or sales timetable.
Questions to ask a pest-control marketing provider
- Which services, buyer types and areas would you prioritise?
- What will you implement and publish each month?
- Can you show relevant cases with dates, costs and enquiry definitions?
- How will domestic call-outs and commercial opportunities be distinguished?
- Who approves pest, treatment, safety and response claims?
- Which media, software and production costs are additional?
- What does exclusivity mean, and how are invalid contacts handled?
- Which accounts, pages and data remain under our control on exit?
Research note: six supplied searches informed these topics. Primary provider and platform information was reviewed on 27 October 2026. Some provider details were available through indexed primary information where a full page could not be retrieved. Provider reports are not independently audited. Different-service or overseas cases are not UK pest-control benchmarks. Built for Local publishes this guide and offers related services.
