Give the portfolio a clear service structure
Help visitors find shopfront signs, vehicle graphics, illuminated signage, interior branding or other services you actually supply. Combine strong finished-project images with a short explanation of the offer. A visitor should understand what you can deliver without guessing from a gallery alone.
Show projects in context
Use wider installation photographs, detail shots and approved descriptions of materials and production. State your role in design, manufacture, supply and installation. Label digital mockups as concepts and secure permission to publish customer branding and premises photographs.
Collect a useful project brief
Ask for the sign or graphics service, business location, approximate scope, desired date and whether artwork is available. Vehicle enquiries may need vehicle types and quantities; a shopfront request may need premises details. Let visitors describe an uncertain requirement without forcing a technical specification.
Keep artwork handling practical
A basic enquiry can start the conversation without collecting production artwork immediately. Secure uploads, file-size limits, artwork approval portals and customer accounts require a separately agreed workflow. Your team confirms measurements, artwork requirements and final production approval.
Set expectations for quotations and installations
Explain the next steps after the enquiry and how surveys, design, production and installation are confirmed. Published turnaround times and prices should use your current approved terms. A website request does not confirm a production slot, completed survey or installation booking.
Scope specialist functions before building
Online sign designers, material selectors, instant pricing, ecommerce and production-management integrations need individual assessment. A standard marketing website focuses on service information, evidence and enquiries. Preserve useful existing URLs and plan redirects when redesigning.
Let real projects demonstrate your capabilities
Use approved photographs of finished signs, supported material descriptions and genuine customer feedback. Explain your contribution to design, production and installation accurately, including specialist partners where relevant.
Our portfolio and case studies show our work for other local businesses. They demonstrate our approach without implying previous signage-sector results.
Agree the scope before starting
Website design is included within the agreed Local Authority scope. Standalone website projects, ecommerce and specialist development are quoted separately.
