Built for Local – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the supply of services by Green Boost Ltd, trading as Built for Local (“Built for Local”, “we”, “our”, “us”).


By purchasing any service through our website, Stripe payment links, or by accepting a quotation from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Our Services

Built for Local provides digital marketing and website services, including but not limited to:


  • Website Design & Development
  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
  • Google Ads Setup
  • Google Ads Management
  • Local SEO
  • Google Business Profile Optimisation
  • Website Hosting
  • Website Maintenance
  • Digital Marketing Consultancy

2. Website Packages


Our current website packages are:


  • Foundation Website – £995
  • Town Authority Website – £1,995
  • County Authority Website – £2,995


Package prices may change from time to time. Any quotation issued by Built for Local remains valid for the period stated on the quotation.

3. SEO Services


We currently offer the following SEO packages:


Standard SEO


£695 per month


Suitable for businesses with an existing website.


Website Client SEO


£400 per month


Available exclusively to businesses that have purchased a website directly from Built for Local.


If the associated website is transferred away from Built for Local, substantially altered by a third party, or is no longer maintained by us, we reserve the right to transfer the subscription to our Standard SEO pricing.

4. Google Ads Services


Our current Google Ads pricing is:


  • Google Ads Setup – £200 (one-off)
  • Google Ads Management – £350 per month


The monthly management fee includes the ongoing management and optimisation of Google Ads campaigns with an advertising budget of up to £1,000 per month, paid directly by the client to Google.


Should the monthly advertising budget exceed £1,000, we reserve the right to agree a revised management fee based on the complexity of the account and level of management required.


Google advertising spend is paid directly to Google and is not included within our management fee.

5. Payment Terms


Website Projects


Website projects are completed on the following payment schedule:


  • A 50% deposit is required before work commences.
  • The remaining 50% balance must be paid before the website is launched or transferred to the client.
  • Ownership of the website remains with Built for Local until full payment has been received.


Website Hosting & Domain Names


  • All website packages include 12 months of website hosting from the website launch date.
  • After the initial 12-month hosting period, clients may:
  • transfer the website to their own Duda hosting account; or
  • continue hosting with Built for Local for £25.00 per month.
  • Domain names are registered separately and are subject to annual renewal fees.
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring their domain name remains renewed.


SEO Services


  • SEO services are provided on a rolling monthly subscription.
  • Subscription payments are collected monthly in advance via Stripe unless otherwise agreed.
  • Upon successful payment, work for that month’s SEO campaign will commence.
  • Clients may cancel their subscription at any time before the next billing date to prevent future payments.
  • Once payment has been collected and work has commenced for the current billing period, that month’s payment is non-refundable.


Google Ads Management


Google Ads Management is provided on a rolling monthly subscription.

Management fees are collected monthly in advance via Stripe.

Upon successful payment, management and optimisation of your Google Ads campaigns for that billing period will commence.

Clients may cancel their subscription at any time before the next billing date to prevent future payments.

Once payment has been collected and work has commenced for the current billing period, that month’s management fee is non-refundable.

Google advertising spend is paid directly to Google and is separate from our management fee.


Failed or Late Payments


If a scheduled payment cannot be collected, or an invoice remains unpaid, we reserve the right to:


pause work;

  • suspend ongoing services;
  • suspend website hosting (where applicable);
  • delay the launch of a website; and/or
  • withhold delivery of completed work


until all outstanding balances have been paid in full.

6. Client Responsibilities


Clients agree to:


  • provide requested content, images and information promptly;
  • provide access to relevant accounts where required;
  • review work within a reasonable timeframe;
  • ensure all information supplied is accurate and lawful.


Delays caused by the client may affect project timescales and do not constitute grounds for refunds.

7. Search Engine & Advertising Disclaimer


Search engines, AI search platforms and advertising platforms are controlled by third parties.


Accordingly, Built for Local cannot guarantee:


  • Google rankings;
  • Google Business Profile rankings;
  • AI search visibility;
  • website traffic;
  • enquiries;
  • leads;
  • sales;
  • return on investment; or
  • revenue.


Campaign and SEO performance depend on numerous factors, including competition, market conditions, search engine algorithm updates, advertising platform changes and user behaviour.

8. Intellectual Property


Upon receipt of full payment, ownership of the bespoke website created specifically for the client transfers to the client.


Built for Local retains ownership of all proprietary systems, frameworks, templates, methodologies, processes, software and reusable assets developed by us.


These may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or resold without our prior written consent.

9. Refund Policy


Website design services are bespoke and created specifically for each client.


Accordingly:


  • The 50% website deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced.
  • The remaining website balance is non-refundable once the website has been completed and approved for launch.
  • SEO subscription payments are non-refundable once payment has been received and work has commenced for that billing period.
  • Google Ads Management fees are non-refundable once payment has been received and work has commenced for that billing period.
  • Google Ads Setup fees are non-refundable once work has commenced.


Nothing within these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable law.

10. Limitation of Liability


To the fullest extent permitted by law, Green Boost Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or financial losses arising from the use of our website or services.


Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

11. Third-Party Services


We may utilise third-party providers including, but not limited to:


  • Duda
  • Google
  • Stripe
  • Microsoft
  • Meta
  • Cloudflare


We are not responsible for interruptions, outages, policy changes or technical issues caused by third-party providers.

12. Portfolio & Case Studies


Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Built for Local reserves the right to display completed projects, website screenshots and publicly available performance data within our website, portfolio, marketing materials, social media channels and case studies.


Confidential business information will never be disclosed without the client’s permission.

13. Changes to These Terms


We may amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time.


The latest version will always be published on our website and will apply from the date of publication.

14. Governing Law


These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.


Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
