These Terms & Conditions govern the supply of services by Green Boost Ltd, trading as Built for Local ("Built for Local", "we", "our", "us").

By purchasing any service from us, accepting a quotation or proposal, signing an agreement, paying an invoice, or making payment through our website or Stripe payment links, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Our Services

Built for Local provides digital marketing services designed to improve the online visibility of local businesses.

Our services include, but are not limited to:

Local SEO

Google Ads Management

Website Hosting

Website Maintenance

Content Creation

Digital PR

2. Local Authority Website

Our flagship service is the Local Authority Website.

The Local Authority Website is supplied under a minimum 12-month agreement and is designed to continually improve your online visibility through ongoing website development, local SEO and content expansion.

Unless otherwise stated within your quotation or proposal, the service may include:

Professionally designed website

Homepage targeting your primary service area

Core service pages

Location pages

Website hosting

SSL certificate

Website maintenance

Google Business Profile optimisation

Technical SEO

Local SEO

Internal linking improvements

Monthly content expansion

Performance reporting

The exact deliverables are detailed within your quotation or proposal.

Package pricing may change from time to time.

Any quotation issued by Built for Local remains valid for the period stated within that quotation.



3. Optional Growth Packages

Clients may purchase optional monthly Growth Packages to accelerate their online visibility.

Growth Packages may include, but are not limited to:

Additional service pages

Additional location pages

Link building

Digital PR

Authority building

Google Business Profile optimisation

Content marketing

Technical SEO

Conversion rate optimisation

Other digital marketing services

Growth Packages operate on a rolling monthly subscription unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Pricing is detailed within your quotation or proposal.



4. Google Ads Services

Our current Google Ads pricing is:

Google Ads Setup: £250 (one-off)

Google Ads Management: £350 per month

The monthly management fee includes the ongoing management and optimisation of Google Ads campaigns with an advertising budget of up to £1,000 per month.

Advertising spend is paid directly by the client to Google and is not included within our management fee.

Should monthly advertising spend exceed £1,000, we reserve the right to agree a revised management fee.



5. Payment Terms


Local Authority Website

The Local Authority Website is supplied under a minimum 12-month agreement.


The service consists of:

  • A one-off setup fee, payable before work commences; and
  • A recurring monthly service fee, the first payment of which is due immediately prior to the launch of the client's website. Subsequent monthly payments will be collected monthly in advance.
  • The monthly service fee covers the ongoing development, expansion, hosting, maintenance and optimisation of your website throughout the agreement.
  • The initial 12-month term begins on the date the first monthly service payment is successfully collected.
  • Monthly service payments are collected in advance via Stripe or another agreed payment method.
  • Work for each billing period commences upon successful receipt of payment.


Upon successful completion of the initial 12-month agreement, provided all outstanding balances have been paid in full, the client may choose one of the following options:

Option 1 – Continue the Local Authority Website

Continue the Local Authority Website service on a rolling monthly basis at the prevailing monthly service fee (currently £299 per month).

This includes the continued expansion and optimisation of your website, including but not limited to:

  • Ongoing SEO
  • Additional service pages
  • Additional location pages
  • Technical SEO improvements
  • Google Business Profile optimisation
  • Website hosting
  • Website maintenance
  • Content expansion
  • Internal linking improvements
  • Performance reporting
  • Other improvements included within the Local Authority Website service


Option 2 – Website Maintenance Plan

Transfer onto our Website Maintenance Plan at the prevailing monthly fee (currently £30 per month).

This includes:

  • Website hosting
  • Website maintenance
  • SSL certificate
  • Security updates
  • Software updates (where applicable)
  • Up to 30 minutes of website content updates per calendar month

Additional work requested beyond the included 30 minutes will be quoted separately or charged at our standard hourly rate.

The Website Maintenance Plan does not include SEO, content creation, Google Business Profile optimisation, Growth Packages or ongoing website expansion.

Unused update time does not roll over to future months.


Option 3 – Transfer to Your Own Duda Account

Request that the website be transferred to a Duda account owned by the client.


Upon completion of the transfer:

  • ownership of the bespoke website transfers to the client (subject to all outstanding balances having been paid);
  • the client becomes responsible for all future hosting, licensing, maintenance and support costs;
  • Built for Local's ongoing obligations relating to the website shall cease unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Any ongoing Growth Packages or Google Ads Management services may continue independently if requested.


Early Cancellation

The Local Authority Website is supplied under a minimum 12-month agreement.


Should a client choose to cancel the service before the end of the initial 12-month term, Built for Local reserves the right to immediately cease all work associated with the agreement.


Upon cancellation, we may, at our discretion:

  • suspend or terminate website hosting;
  • remove the website from our hosting platform;
  • suspend all SEO and digital marketing activities;
  • cease any further website development or content creation; and
  • cancel any services included within the Local Authority Website package.
  • Any payments already made remain non-refundable.
  • Nothing within this clause obliges Built for Local to continue providing services following early cancellation.


Promotional Pricing & Discounts

From time to time, Built for Local may offer discounted pricing, promotional offers or complimentary services.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, any promotional pricing or discounts are offered on the basis that the client complies with the agreed payment schedule and any applicable minimum contract term.



Built for Local reserves the right to withdraw or cease any promotional pricing or complimentary services where the client fails to make payments when due, materially breaches these Terms & Conditions, or terminates the agreement before the end of any applicable minimum term.

Promotional offers have no cash value and may not be exchanged for alternative services or refunds.



Growth Packages

Growth Packages are supplied on a rolling monthly subscription.

Payments are collected monthly in advance.

Clients may cancel a Growth Package at any time before the next billing date.

Once payment has been received and work has commenced for the applicable billing period, that month's payment is non-refundable.



Google Ads Management

Google Ads Management is supplied on a rolling monthly subscription.

Management fees are collected monthly in advance.

Clients may cancel before the next billing date.

Once payment has been received and work has commenced for that billing period, the monthly management fee is non-refundable.

Google advertising spend remains payable directly to Google.



Google Ads Setup

The Google Ads Setup fee becomes non-refundable once work has commenced.



Failed or Late Payments

If payment cannot be collected or an invoice remains unpaid, Built for Local reserves the right to:

  • pause work;
  • suspend ongoing services;
  • suspend website hosting;
  • suspend access to the website;
  • delay website launches;
  • suspend SEO campaigns;
  • suspend Google Ads management;
  • withhold delivery of completed work; and/or
  • Built for Local reserves the right to suspend or terminate services until outstanding payments have been received.

These rights remain in effect until all outstanding balances have been paid in full.



6. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • provide requested content, images and information promptly;
  • provide access to relevant accounts where required;
  • review work within a reasonable timeframe;
  • ensure all information supplied is accurate, lawful and does not infringe third-party rights;
  • maintain ownership of and access to any third-party services required to deliver our services.

Delays caused by the client may affect project timescales and shall not constitute grounds for refunds or cancellation.



7. Search Engine & Advertising Disclaimer

Search engines, AI search platforms and advertising platforms are operated by independent third parties.

Accordingly, Built for Local cannot guarantee:

  • Google rankings;
  • Google Business Profile rankings;
  • AI search visibility;
  • search engine indexing;
  • website traffic;
  • enquiries;
  • leads;
  • sales;
  • return on investment;
  • revenue; or
  • any specific business outcome.

Results depend upon numerous factors including competition, search engine algorithms, AI platform changes, market conditions, website history, advertising platform policies and user behaviour.

Case studies and previous client results should not be interpreted as guarantees of future performance.



8. Performance Timeframes

Search engine optimisation is an ongoing process.

Although improvements may be achieved within weeks, meaningful growth frequently takes several months depending upon the competitiveness of the client's market and other external factors.

Built for Local cannot guarantee results within any specific timeframe.



9. Intellectual Property

Ownership of the bespoke website created specifically for the client shall transfer to the client upon successful completion of the initial 12-month Local Authority Website agreement, provided that all outstanding balances have been paid in full.

Where the client chooses to continue with either the Local Authority Website service or the Website Maintenance Plan after the initial 12-month term, ownership of the website remains with the client while Built for Local continues to host and maintain the website on the client's behalf.

If requested by the client after completion of the initial 12-month term, Built for Local will transfer the website to a Duda account owned by the client within a reasonable timeframe, provided all outstanding balances have been paid.

Built for Local retains ownership of all proprietary systems, frameworks, templates, methodologies, reusable code, software, automation, processes, design systems and other intellectual property developed independently of the client's bespoke website.

These assets may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified for resale or otherwise exploited without the prior written consent of Built for Local.



10. Refund Policy

As our services are bespoke and delivered progressively over time:

Local Authority Website payments are non-refundable once work has commenced for the applicable billing period.

Growth Package payments are non-refundable once work has commenced for the applicable billing period.

Google Ads Setup fees are non-refundable once work has commenced.

Google Ads Management fees are non-refundable once work has commenced for the applicable billing period.

Cancellation of a service does not entitle the client to a refund for work already completed.

Nothing within these Terms affects your statutory rights.



11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Green Boost Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or financial losses, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunities or anticipated savings.

Our maximum liability in respect of any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the preceding twelve months.

Nothing within these Terms excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.



12. Third-Party Services

Built for Local may utilise third-party providers including, but not limited to:

  • Google
  • Duda
  • Stripe
  • Microsoft
  • Meta
  • Cloudflare
  • OpenAI
  • Anthropic
  • Other software providers

We are not responsible for interruptions, outages, policy changes, pricing changes or technical issues arising from third-party providers.



13. Portfolio & Case Studies

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Built for Local reserves the right to display:

  • completed websites;
  • screenshots;
  • publicly available Google rankings;
  • Google Business Profile performance;
  • project statistics;
  • testimonials;
  • case studies; and
  • publicly available business information
  • within our website, marketing materials, proposals, presentations and social media.

Confidential business information will never be disclosed without the client's prior consent.



14. Service Changes

Built for Local continually develops and improves its services.

We reserve the right to modify, replace or improve elements of our services where doing so reflects changes in technology, search engine algorithms, AI platforms or industry best practice.

Where any material change significantly affects the agreed scope of work, clients will be notified.



15. Force Majeure

Built for Local shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • acts of God;
  • natural disasters;
  • cyber attacks;
  • internet outages;
  • pandemics;
  • government action;
  • industrial disputes;
  • failures of third-party providers; or
  • events outside our reasonable control.



16. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will always be published on our website and shall take effect from the date of publication.



17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.


18. Definitions

Local Authority Website means the ongoing website, SEO, hosting and optimisation service supplied by Built for Local.

Growth Package means any optional recurring marketing service purchased in addition to the Local Authority Website.

Client means the individual or business purchasing services from Built for Local.

Agreement means these Terms & Conditions together with any quotation, proposal or payment confirmation.
